MULU NATIONAL PARK 3D/2N
Mulu National Park
Deer Cave

Mulu National Park has one of the most extensive cave systems in the world. It boasts one of the largest chambers on the planet and has the longest single cave passage ever discovered. It also offers beautiful jungle trails, waters to swim in and has a great array of flora and fauna.

Nestled deep in the rainforest of northern Sarawak, near Miri, Gunung Mulu National Park is one of the most extraordinary natural destinations in Southeast Asia. Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is celebrated for its vast cave systems, rich biodiversity, and dramatic limestone landscapes.

DAY 01 TRANSFER IN - MULU AIRPORT / DEER & LANG CAVE

Upon arrival at Mulu Airport, you will be met by your guide for the short transfer to Mulu Headquarters for check in. Depending on arrival time, lunch can be taken at the park restaurant before proceeding 3 km on a raised boardwalk to reach Deer Cave & Lang Cave. Deer Cave, until recently, was considered the largest cave passage in the world, while nearby Sarawak Chamber is the largest cave chamber on Earth. After exploring the caves, proceed to the bat observatory. At least 12 species of bats call the cave home and their spiraling exodus is one of nature's finest sights. Keep an eye out for the bat hawk. The bats only emerge in fine weather but there is a second chance on Day 2 if needed. Bring waterproof gear, water and a torch. After dinner, optional night walks (cash payment).
