Abstract Guidelines

  • Background: Statement of the issue or research hypothesis
  • Objectives: Specific aims of the study
  • Materials and Methods: Study design, methodology, and analytical approach
  • Results: Summary of key findings
  • Conclusions: Interpretation of results and implications for occupational health / public health
  • Abstracts should be 200 – 300 words

Terms and Conditions for Abstract Submission

  • The presenting author shall be one of the authors listed in the abstract
  • Each participant can only submit a maximum of one abstract to be considered for presentation at the conference
  • The author should indicate whether the submission is for a poster or an oral presentation. However, the scientific committee makes the final decision on the mode of presentation
  • Abstract presenters accepted must pay for the conference before the deadline. The presentation will be cancelled if the presenter does not pay by the deadline
