A veterinary officer with a background in surveillance and field epidemiology. Currently serving as Head of the Surveillance Unit in the Division of Disease Control and Veterinary Biosecurity, Department of Veterinary Services Malaysia, where I oversee the National Surveillance Programme for animal diseases. My work focuses on disease surveillance systems, outbreak investigation, and epidemiological analysis. I have experience in: i) Developing and implementing strategic surveillance plans to support policy development for improved disease prevention and control. ii) Leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating national-level disease monitoring and response. I am committed to strengthening veterinary public health systems through integrated, data-driven approaches.
